The 2015 SCORE International Baja 1000 has gotten off to a good start for Team MultiCam rider, Jeff Benrud #715x. Part of preparing for this torturous event is pre-running the entire course before the race, which can be as dangerous as the race itself. But with Baja being the ruthless place that it is pre-running wasn’t without its own issues with a few bobbles for Jeff, a number of mechanical issues and a couple of navigation issues for the support vehicles. The good thing is Jeff is feeling strong and confident and the team is prepared for face day tomorrow. If all goes well, Jeff should be crossing the finish line 25 hours after he began.
