We are excited to announce that we will be supporting former U.S. SOCOM operator, Jeff Benrud, in the 2015 SCORE Baja 1000 on November 20th. Last year, Jeff was part of a 3 man relay dirt bike team who was 1 rider down come race day. That experience of splitting the entire 1000 mile race between 2 riders made Jeff realize that he could potentially solo this year’s race. So, he will be competing in the mind-boggling Ironman category and feels he can finish in about 24 hours. This will truly be something to witness and we will be there every step of the way. Cosponsors include Safariland Group, American Offload Racing, LeadNav, Baja Designs, G Force Racing, Troy Lee, Smith, Dubya Wheels, Golden Tyre, Crye Precision, Benrud Rentals and Heartland Contractors.
As we did last year, we will be raffling off the actual race bike to raise money for special operations charities. The bike is a 2015 Honda CRF 450x with $15,000 of custom engine, transmission and suspension work. Last year’s bike fetched $35,000 and we hope to top that this time.
