F.A.Q.

Customer F.A.Q.

MultiCam® is available in a wide range of end items sold by hundreds of companies, both direct from their own websites, and on third party reseller websites. If you're interested in incorporating MultiCam® raw materials (such as fabric, hydrographic film, etc.) into your own end items, you can buy them from any of our authorized raw material providers, an updated list of which can be found on our authorized raw material providers list. In each of these two cases, you do not need to enter into a license with Crye. If, on the other hand, you want to make your own MultiCam® raw materials, then you can become a licensed raw material producer (or have a company you already work with become one). Please contact us at info@multicampattern.com to begin this process.

The original MultiCam® design was created in the early 2000's, and since then, have designed four MultiCam® variants, optimized for specific environments. They are Tropic, Arid, Alpine and Black. Additionally, we've created a number of other bespoke MultiCam® patterns for specific countries, including the British Multi-Terrain Pattern (MTP), the Australian MultiCam® Pattern (AMP), the Irish Transitional MultiCam® Pattern (ITMP), the Denmark MultiCam® Pattern (DMP) and others.

MultiCam® is the chosen pattern of U.S. Special Operations Forces, who's rapid deployment capabilities call for effective concealment across many different environments. MultiCam® has been adopted for use by all or portions of the armed forces of many countries, including, but not limited to, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand, Peru, Chile, Israel and many others. MultiCam® and its variants are also used domestically and internationally by many federal agencies, elite SWAT and law enforcement units.

Our Concealment Solutions Program (CSP™) team can work with you to develop a custom bespoke camouflage pattern based on your requirements. Please contact info@multicampattern.com to learn more and begin the assessment phase.

MultiCam® is available in a variety of fabrics, webbings, trims, adhesive vinyl, hydrographic film, anodized aluminum and more. Please visit this page to see a full list of our licensed raw material producers located around the world.

Well… imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? Unfortunately, there are many companies and individuals around the world who are seeking to inappropriately and illegally profit off of our brand. While the only way to be certain that you are purchasing authentic MultiCam® is by reaching out to us directly to seek confirmation about a particular seller, some general tips would also include (i) avoiding purchasing products in MultiCam®-like patterns that do not use the word "MultiCam®" specifically; (ii) looking for physical hangtags and other official MultiCam® marketing materials in the advertising of those products; and (iii) verifying that the materials you are buying are coming from a licensed raw material provider.

Yes. Nearly all MultiCam® fabrics are carefully printed to tune the reflectance for both the visible and nIR spectrums. For applications where nIR performance is not req, we have developed VS™ versions of the patterns which are tuned for the Visible Spectrum only.

We have several developments ongoing to defeat detection in the SWIR, MWIR, and LWIR spectrums. Many of these are controlled and/or confidential technologies. To find out more, please contact info@multicampattern.com.

Yes. Although we focus on supporting military needs, we often receive support letters from customers who hunt with MultiCam® patterns and swear by its performance.

Licensee F.A.Q.

We have a systematic approach to licensing printers to reproduce MultiCam® on fabrics, anodized metals, vinyl, and many other substrates. We are happy to discuss how you would like to apply MultiCam® to your materials, and begin the process.

Generally speaking, if you are buying raw materials from an existing licensed MultiCam® source, you can integrate those raw materials with your own manufactured products without the need to enter into a license agreement with us. If our existing raw material sources do not meet your particular manufacturing needs and/or you have a unique application, then please contact us to discuss a licensing arrangement that works best for your operation.

Yes. We currently feature end-items and other unique products on our various social media platforms, and additionally promote our licensees and raw material producers on our website. If you'd like to have your product featured or otherwise engage with our marketing team, please contact info@multicampattern.com.

Please contact us to discuss your specific situation and requirements.
